A New York City based actor and singer, Lisa originally hails from the eastern shore of Maryland, (and for the record, still misses authentic crab cakes.)
Her passion for developing new theatre projects has permitted her the luxury to perform at such venues as Dixon Place, H.E.R.E., The Bushwick Starr, Galapagos, Theatre for the New City, Axis Theater Company, The Tank, and The Mark O'Donnell Theatre. Lisa's TV Credits include Orange is the New Black, The Perfect Murder, and Celebrity Ghost Stories. She's had the good fortune of working with many incredible independent filmmakers, on films such as Make Pretend, Meanwhile, Charlie, and Planet Earth: Dreams. Lisa also works in commercials and voice over and is the author of Ordinary Magic, (Little Vignettes from the Big Apple.) Lisa teaches acting and co-directs high school plays whenever she can, and is currently an adjunct professor for Pace School of Performing Arts at Pace University and heads the Freshman Drama club at Xavier High School. Lisa is a proud alumni of Pace University (B.F.A. Acting,) Brooklyn College (M.F.A. Acting,) and has trained at H.B. Studio. A big believer in working and playing hard, Lisa often follows East Village Italian dinners with karaoke with her photographer boyfriend, and takes Aunt Life very seriously. She |
